Coronavirus: Chilean copy writer Luis Sepúlveda dies aged 70

Best-selling Chilean author Luis Sep?lveda provides died of Covid-19 in Spain at the age of 70.  He put in six 2 or 3 weeks in clinic in Oviedo after building symptoms carrying out a visit to a literary festivity in Portugal. Sep?lveda grew to become internationally known following the publication of his novel The Aged Man Who Read through Love Experiences in 1988. A socialist, he had been imprisoned in Chile beneath the military concept of Gen Augusto Pinochet prior to going into exile.  He was basically one of the many left-wing writers, activists and intellectuals aimed from the right-wing general who overthrew socialist Chief executive Salvador Allende in 1973. Sep?lveda seemed to be jailed in 1973 for treason and invested two-and-a-half a long time in prison, a period he later composed about in Madness of Pinochet and other articles. He had been freed as a result of pressure from privileges group Amnesty International and resided in covering in Chile for a year before being imprisoned again and delivered into exile. His award-winning The Aged Man Who Study Love Stories is dependant on the time he spent living with the indigenous Shuar persons inside the Ecuadorean Amazon. It handles the encroachment of builders, hunters and gold prospectors on the rainforest. The novel was converted into a film of exactly the same name starring Richard Dreyfuss. Sep?lveda in addition directed films and published screenplays and children's literature.
