Nasa to kick off first manned quest from US in decade

Nasa has released that the following month it will launch its first manned objective from US earth in almost 10 years.   The rocket as well as the spacecraft it is carrying are due to take off from Florida's Kennedy Room Middle on 27 May possibly, getting two
astronauts to the International Space Stop (ISS).  Both the rocket and spacecraft had been produced by non-public firm SpaceX.  Nasa continues to be using Russian rockets for manned flights since its space shuttle was retired in 2011.  If successful, SpaceX - going by billionaire businessman Elon Musk - will become the first individual firm to send Nasa astronauts into area.  The Falcon 9 rocket and Team Dragon spacecraft will take off from the space centre's historical Pad 39A, exactly the same 1 used for the Apollo and shuttle missions.  It will require astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley approximately a day to reach the ISS. 1 Us astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts happen to be aboard the ISS now.
