Tabhlighi Jamat: India to arrest religious boss over Covid-19 outbreak

Indian law enforcement are usually poised to arrest the relative brain of this Tablighi Jamaat, Muhammad Saad Khandalvi, following a gathering held by the company in Delhi spawned Covid-19 clusters across India.  Police force say the get together, which commenced on 3 March, was not ended even though India announced a lockdown on 24 March. Police say he ignored two notices to end the event at the mosque in Delhi's Nizamuddin area.  On the other hand, the organisation states they had suspended the event and expected everyone to depart as soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi released that there would be a day-long national curfew on 22 March. While many were able to leave, they say, others have been stranded because says started to seal their edges the next moment, and two days later, India travelled into lockdown, suspending trains and buses. The mosque's premises include dormitories that can house a huge selection of people. The organisers claim they informed the local police about all of this and continuing to co-operate with medical officers who found check the premises.
