Angela Merkel contrasted with Hitler by Malta envoy who at that point stops
Malta's envoy to Finland has surrendered in the wake of contrasting German Chancellor Angela Merkel with Nazi tyrant Adolf Hitler, neighborhood media state. Michael Zammit Tabona purportedly composed on his Facebook page: "Seventy-five years prior we halted Hitler. Who will stop Angela Merkel? She has satisfied Hitler's fantasy! To control Europe." The post has since been erased. Maltese Foreign Minister Evarist Bartolo said Germany would get a statement of regret, the Times of Malta reports. Mr Bartolo told the paper that he had trained the represetative to evacuate the remark "when I was made aware of it". Mr Zammit Tabona, who turned into Malta's represetative in Finland in 2014, has so far offered no remark on the column. He is accounted for to be a political deputy - not a lifelong ambassador.
